POSITION: MEDICAL RECORD PROCESSOR
Location: Pittsburgh

Requirements: Ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, possesses excellent computer and written/verbal communication skills, with ability to multi-task in fast paced environment. Must be self-motivated and work well under pressure. Previous background in a medical office or legal office setting preferred.
Responsibilities: Handles management of both normal and complex file inventories, from inception to completion, which may or may not include rush requests including the ability to meet deadlines and production goals. This involves each and every aspect of the request process.

This process will be accomplished through:

a. A thorough understanding of the record requests and the provider;
b. Multi-tasking and prioritizing work load
c. Communicating with clients and providers via telephone, electronic mail and written correspondence;
d. Internet research on hard-to-find providers and record request

Requirements: Ideal candidate will have two (2) years prior experience in the field of private investigations with a degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice or related field, and/or one (1) year of insurance fraud experience, and/or law enforcement or military experience. Hourly wages, mileage, plus expenses, with a complete benefit package offered. Entry level candidates encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities: Conduct investigations related to insurance fraud, to include surveillance, activity checks, background checks, locates, and written/recorded statements. Candidates interested in this position must demonstrate proficiency in the following job duties to be considered.
  • Obtaining quality surveillance video evidence
  • Securing written/recorded statements
  • Accident scene investigations
  • Writing accurate and detailed reports
  • Strong grammatical skills
  • Flexible work schedule to include working long hours, weekend hours and some holiday hours
  • Strong initiative and work ethic
  • Possession of a valid driver`s license
  • Ability to work independently
  • Deposition and courtroom testimony as requested
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Ability to work closely with supervisory personnel as well as senior investigators within the department
